Cancer Registry Abstractor

Shift: Day/Evening Flexible
Eligible candidates must meet minimum hiring requirements and have the ability to collaborate personnel to ensure accurate completion of work that exceeds the expectation of our clients!
Responsibilities: Analyze and abstract all pertinent data related to cases of malignancies treated by the Medical Staff. This is an educational and interesting position in support of clinical research for the National Cancer Institute.
Skills / Requirements Basic Qualifications: Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR) ; individual must possess extensive knowledge of medical terminology, oncology terminology, anatomy, and physiology, diagnostic procedures, disease processes, staging and treatment. Extensive knowledge and experience of ICD-O .
